    Adidas Equips Mercedes Formula 1 Team

    Multi-Year Partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team

    Sportswear manufacturer Adidas has entered into a new multi-year partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. This was announced through a press release published by Mercedes-Benz on its website on January 7, 2025. The partnership is based on a shared commitment to performance and top-quality standards.

    Collection for the Team and Fans

    As part of the collaboration, Adidas, according to the press release, will design a complete collection for the entire Formula 1 team – including drivers, mechanics, and engineers.

    Additionally, there will be products for fans. Adidas will develop and launch clothing, shoes, and accessories for the team and its fanbase. The first collection is expected to be presented in February.

    Adidas as Official Team Partner

    Bjørn Gulden, CEO of Adidas, stated: “Interest in motorsport in general, and Formula 1 in particular, has increased significantly. It reaches new consumers and has a major impact on both sport and street culture. We are very proud to bring the three-stripes brand as the Official Team Partner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team into Formula 1 – and with one of the most successful teams of all time.”

    Toto Wolff, co-owner, CEO, and team principal of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, said: “Our partnership with Adidas is a clear commitment from our team as we begin to write our next chapter. Adidas is an iconic brand that shares our dedication to high performance, as well as to style and elegance.” The collaboration, according to Wolff, will define what team and fan apparel means in motorsport.
