Achieve potential savings of up to 15% or more with a professional tender!

Author: Heiko Steinmetz, Manager Kloepfel Consulting

Exhibition stand construction and the associated services are diverse, complex and usually associated with high costs. Especially if you rely on a customized solution with few to hardly any standard/system elements when implementing your concept. The decision on implementation usually depends on the budget and the environment in which you present yourself as an exhibiting company. The size and importance of the trade fair (e.g. a leading international trade fair), your own market position and the appearance of your competitors are decisive factors, as is the overriding goal of attracting maximum attention and presenting your own company, products and services in the best possible way.

Once a concept has been created and the stand has been designed, the offers for implementation can be obtained. As soon as the first offer is received, the scope, level of detail and complexity usually become clear very quickly. The services and materials included are varied and range from project management, construction and dismantling to transportation and the actual stand itself, including rental furniture and media technology. An evaluation of the respective components and services as well as the selection of the optimal materials requires broad expertise, market knowledge and sufficient capacity within the purchasing organization. As experience has shown that there are no dedicated resources for exhibition stand construction in the purchasing organizations, the process usually does not go beyond a comparison of offers. As a result, potential savings are often not realized.

With the purchasing experts from Kloepfel Consulting, you can bring the expertise and capacity for tendering your exhibition stands in-house as required and generate valuable savings of over 15% in some cases. We accompany and support you right from the start in close coordination with your customers and also act as an interface between purchasing, specialist departments, agencies and the market or stand construction companies. We also provide specialist input to ensure that you end up with the exhibition stand that best suits your needs, at the best conditions and to the complete satisfaction of your specialist departments.
